Offering Free Lessons As Lead Magnet
If you have a complete idea for an online course (or maybe you are in the process of developing an idea), consider creating the first 3 lessons, releasing them for free, and then offering the remainder for paying subscribers.
When you provide the first lessons of a complete course for free, you give your prospects an opportunity to answer their own objections about buying from you.
In this guide, we'll show you how to take your online course and make your lessons free to preview to attract more leads.
We're going to take our course "How To Create An Online Course" and give away the first 3 Lessons for free.
1. In your course editor, we'll go to the "Lessons" section and select a particular lesson.
2. Once we're in the lesson editor, we'll check the box next to "Let users view this entire lesson from the sales page for free." This will let users preview your lessons before deciding to purchase the course.
3. Once you do this for all the lessons you want to be preview-able, your Sales Page will look like this:
There you have it! The green "Preview" button indicates that the course is free to preview for all the prospective customers on your sales page.
The first 3 lessons free model is one of the easiest ways to answer that question of what your final product looks like, introduce your authority, and encourage a prospect to continue with a purchase of your full course.
Once you've put together your online course-based lead magnet, you're going to want to add your students to your email list for future marketing purposes.
You can read this article here to see how to automate that process of adding new leads to your list.
